Titmus Vision Screeners are ergonomically designed, precision-built stereoscopic instruments, providing precise and prompt measurement of visual performance. The screeners are engineered for accuracy, validity and reliability with emphasis on convenience and ease of administration.

The V2 is compact and portable. Optional carrying case with
wheels available. It's unique design accommodates both
adults and children, in either standing or seated position which ensures the patient is in a comfortable position for testing.

Tests at 20 feet (6m) for FAR and 14 inches
(35cm) for NEAR vision. A variety of tests are available to
screen for visual acuity, muscle balance (horizontal and
vertical phoria), depth perception, color perception, and
binocular vision. There is a total of 16 tests per vision screener
(based on slide set selected).

Fluorescent Light Source: Improves slide illumination,
replicates actual daylight conditions and provides true
color testing. Light will give years of extended service
(10,000 hours).

The instrument has a manual wheel to advance test slides and includes built-in membrane switches to occlude each eye and control peripheral vision test lights indicates when to replace
light

Soft headrest to ensure correct head position. Easy to Clean.

Electronic check to ensure correct head position. Patient cannot see tests, if head is incorrectly positioned.

Peripheral Vision Testing: Can perform peripheral vision
testing in the horizontal visual field at 85°, 70°, 55° and
nasal 45° for each eye.

    Allen Picture Test
    Line 1 — Binocularity — Tests performance of both
    eyes together. Lines 2, 3, 4 — Acuity — Right and
    Left Eye Calibrated at 20/30, 20/40 and 20/50.
  • Test No. 2, SAS-2 — Acuity
    Right and Left Eye
    Conventional Tumbling “E” symbol.
    Child states which way the “E” points in each square.
    Acuity levels of 20/20, 20/30, 20/40 and 20/50
  • Test No. 3, SPS-3 — Heterophorias
    Muscle imbalance — vertical and lateral — is
    tested at predetermined pass/fail levels. This
    test is administered first at far, then at near.
  • Test No. 4, SCD-1 — Color Perception
    Consists of six accurately and authentically
    reproduced Ishihara Pseudo-Isochromatic plates.
    Detects color deficiency but does not classify. 
  • Test No. 5, SA-BRL-4 — Visual Acuity
    Results calibrated at 20/20, 20/30,
    20/40, 20/50, 20/70, 20/100, and
    20/200. Tests can be administered
    binocularly or with either eye occluded.
  • Test No. 6, SLP-1 — Lateral Phoria
    Measures Esophoria or Exophoria in
    1 prism diopter steps.
  • Test No. 7, SVP-1 —Vertical Phoria
    Measures right or left Hyperphorias in one-half
    prism diopter steps.
  • Test No. 8, SA-BRL-2A — Visual Acuity
    Results calibrated at 20/20, 20/30, 20/40, 20/50,
    20/70, and 20/100.
    Tests can be administered binocularly or
    with either eye occluded.
